Yangyang Overview

In Wuthering Waves, Yangyang is a 4-Stars Aero character and uses Sword during the fight.

Yangyang embarked on a distant journey from her homeland to serve as an Outrider in Jinzhou. Rather than pursuing personal acclaim, she opts to offer solace through silent companionship to those around her. Through enduring hardships and personal struggles, she has discovered a profound calling—to be a guiding light and a supportive presence in a world that still yearns for healing.

Yangyang Review

Yangyang is a 4-Star Aero character in Wuthering Waves.

A free character obtained immediately upon entering the game. Due to the low Skill Multiplier, her damage gradually falls behind as the game progresses.

Although her Concerto Energy acquisition ability is decent, due to the low damage output and unimpressive Outro Skill, it’s challenging to find a suitable team for her.

Pros

Resonance Liberation can pull enemies together, providing some benefit when paired with teammates that have small attack area.

Cons

While the Outro Skill can provide additional Resonance Energy, its value is still not high and is somewhat dispensable.
Yangyang’s Forte Circuit cannot knock back super-armor enemies.

Yangyang consumes Stamina to perform a Plunging Attack from mid-air, dealing Aero DMG.

Use Basic Attack after a successful Dodge to thrust forward, dealing Aero DMG.

Yangyang wields her sword to create a whirling vortex of winds that gathers nearby enemies to the center, dealing Aero DMG.

Yangyang conjures a mighty Cyclone that gathers nearby enemies, dealing Aero DMG.

Heavy Attack: Stormy Strike
When Yangyang has 3 Melodies, she can cast Stormy Strike after Heavy Attack, dealing Aero DMG.

Mid-air Attack: Feather Release
When Yangyang has 3 Melodies, casting Basic Attacks in mid-air will cause her to consume all Melodies, perform consecutive strikes, and dive from mid-air, dealing Aero DMG. As Yangyang lands, she sheathes her sword with an attack, dealing Aero DMG. This attack is considered as Basic Attack.
