Double Cast Passive: Upon moving to the front row, she gains a double cast ability, dramatically increasing her shield-shaving capacity. It can be used faster than Therion's Divine Feat passive.

SP Recovery Passive: Sonia's ability to recover SP for the front row upon switching to the back row complements Bargello's high SP consumption.

Shield Shaving: Sonia excels in reducing shields, even on non-weak points, making her an invaluable team member. For example, Storm Spike is a 4-hit dagger/wind skill that can shave 8 shields in a turn if combined with her double cast passive. Another great move is Blustering Break, which allows her to reduce up to 6 shields to all enemies regardless of their weaknesses.

Powerful Nuke: Sonia's Self-Deception skill can reach a total potency of 800 when double-casted, while also lowering dagger resistance by 10%.

Some units that benefit from her skillset are Dagger/Wind DPS characters like Therion, A2, EX Sofia, and Bargello, who complement Sonia's strengths.

Best Equipment for Sonia

Sonia is a decent dagger DPS and an amazing support unit.

If you want her as a dagger DPS, you should focus on a PAtk Fortune Weapon for Orsterra content.

For Hell content, you should focus on a dagger that maximizes damage against hellfiends. If you're aiming for this, Abyssal weapon series are the best for her.

Awakening Stone Priority

Sonia is completely viable at A0 U9, so there's no need to go all in for her.

Her A4 accessory, White Grape Perfume, provides a low chance to lower Dagger resistance by 10%. It also boosts Speed by 50 and SP by 40. While good, it's not a game changer.

Her ultimate is probably best upgrade for her. It's a great shield shaver and also debuffs dagger resistance up to 10%, making it a great supporting ultimate for dagger/wind focused teams.

For the most efficient upgrade strategy, you should prioritize: U10 → A1 → A4

Should you Pull for Sonia?

Sonia is definitely a valuable addition to most team compositions thanks to her shield-shaving capabilities.

I wouldn't recommend pulling for her if she wasn't sharing pity with Bargello, but if you can get one copy of her it will be a nice-to-have addition to your roster.
